Ratings: Sheldon and Amy’s ‘Big Bang Theory’ wedding toasts to double digit growth

You can always count on a wedding episode. Thursday’s “Big Bang Theory” season finale, in which Mark Hamill married Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy, soared double digits above last week’s already impressive Nielsen numbers.

Its 2.8 rating among adults 18-49 was 17 percent better than last week’s 2.4, and the half-hour’s 15 million viewers represent the show’s largest audience since January 11.
