Man arrested for breaking into Rihanna's home in an attempt to have sex with her

The man who broke into Rihanna's home on Wednesday did so in order to have sex with her, he told Los Angeles police.

Eduardo Leon, 26, claimed to cops he didn't plan to use force in order to have sex with Rihanna. Days earlier, on May 4, he had broken into another area home after mistaking it for her residence, TMZ reports.

After successfully disabling the alarm system at Rihanna's actual residence, he made himself comfortable inside: Leon stayed at least one entire day in the house, unpacking his bag and charging his phone before Rihanna's assistant discovered his presence. Police tased and arrested Leon for stalking, burglary and trespassing.

Rihanna was not in Los Angeles for the duration of the incident. After the Met Gala earlier this week, she stayed in New York to launch her new global lingerie brand, Savage X Fenty.

The star made waves with her Pope-inspired ensemble at the Met Gala, which she co-chaired with Amal Clooney and Donatella Versace.
