Selena Gomez reacts to her controversial Met Gala look with hilarious video: Watch

Looks like Selena Gomez knows her bold Met Gala look on Monday wasn't exactly a hit.

The 25-year-old singer attended the star-studded soiree in New York City in an ethereal white Coach gown featuring a long train, but it was her makeup that grabbed the most attention. Fans couldn't help but notice Gomez looked a lot more tan than usual.

Still, Gomez has a sense of humor about the fashion miss, and shared her reaction on Wednesday with a hilarious Instagram video. In the video taken at the Met Gala, Gomez is running away from the camera and sprinting into her car. Gomez's telling caption reads, "Me when I saw my pictures from MET," along with an emoji of a woman shrugging.

Though comments have been disabled on the post, fans have been sharing their support for Gomez on her recent posts.

"Always remember you are beautiful, no matter what anyone says," one comment reads. "Your dress was beautiful, your hair was spectacular, your makeup was dazzling. You will always be my favorite. Keep your head up sweet girl."

Of course, other social media users weren't so nice.
