Jane Fonda, 80, is done with sex: 'I’ve closed up shop down there'

Jane Fonda is keeping her fly zipped -- permanently.

The actress has never shied away from sexually explicit subjects, but from here on out, she'll only be discussing past, not present, behaviors in bed.

“I’m not dating anymore, but I did up until a couple of years ago,” Fonda told Extra at the premiere of her new flick "Book Club." “I’m 80. I’ve closed up shop down there!”

Although she may not be in the mood for real-life romance, she's certainly enjoyed steamy on-screen scenes in recent years. She particularly enjoyed filming hot scenes with Robert Redford for last year's "Our Souls at Night."

"I'm happy with the love scene," she told Ellen DeGeneres, adding, "I'm unhappy because it was so short!"

Fonda's last relationship ended in 2017, when she called it quits with music producer Richard Perry. The couple was together for 8 years.

Prior to dating Perry, Fonda was married three times: First to late French director Roger Vadim, then to political activist Tom Hayden, and finally -- most famously -- to media mogul Ted Turner. They were married for a decade.
