Jordin Sparks welcomes first child with husband Dana Isaiah

It’s a boy for Jordin Sparks and husband Dana Isaiah! The 28-year-old American Idol alum recently welcomed their first child, Us Weekly can confirm.

The new mom revealed her post-baby body in an appearance at the Show Dogs premiere on Saturday, May 5.

The “No Air” singer shocked fans in November 2016 when she revealed that she was not only expecting but also that she secretly wed the 25-year-old model in mid-July.

Sparks opened up to Us Weekly earlier this year about the strange side effect her second trimester had brought on. “My appetite went away!” she told Us at the time. “I just don’t think about it, which has never been me. I’ve thought about food my entire life. I love food, so that’s been one surprising thing.”

The season 6 Idol winner also gushed to Us about her attentive beau: “If my back hurts, he says, ‘Can I rub it for you?’ He surprises me a lot with things like flowers. He got me this pregnancy tea that I drink all the time now.”

And it wasn’t just his nurturing ways that helped her navigate her pregnancy. “If I’m overwhelmed, he just breaks through with something funny,” she gushed to Us. “I’m like, ‘This is why I love you!’”
