Kaley Cuoco shares gruesome tease of new ‘Big Bang Theory’ episode (Photo)

Looks like “The Big Bang Theory” fans could be in for a real bang-up episode this week.

Series star Kaley Cuoco shared a glimpse of what’s to come on this week’s episode on Thursday, and it ain’t pretty. In fact, it’s downright gruesome.

In the image, Cuoco is surrounded by her co-stars, including Mayim Bialik and Simon Helberg, all sporting what look like nasty facial injuries.

While Cuoco appears unscathed in the image, the horrified expression on her face is also jarring.

“Just 2 new episodes left of season 11!! Don’t miss tonight !” Cuoco wrote in the caption accompanying the image. “All I can say is I was soooo happy I didn’t have to sit in makeup as long as my co-stars did!”

The current season of the CBS sitcom is set to wrap up with a finale airing May 10. The episode, which will feature the wedding of characters Amy (Bialik) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons), boasts a number of guest stars including “Star Wars” icon Mark Hamill, Kathy Bates, magician Teller and Jerry O’Connell, among others.
