Inside Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City on Tuesday night, some of the world's most respected, beloved names stepped out for the annual TIME 100 Gala, honoring the magazine's 100 most influential people in the world.

After walking the red carpet ahead of the event, honorees and guests alike made their way into the cocktail party, where they sipped on specialty Jane Walker by Johnnie Walker cocktails, and dinner, where they were treated to performances by Jennifer Lopez and Shawn Mendes. Though the exclusive event was invite-only, photos from the evening paint a fun portrait of what went down inside.

Nicole Kidman snapped an adorable selfie with "Today" co-host Hoda Kotb, while "Saturday Night Live" standout Leslie Jones totally freaked out when she crossed path's with J.Lo ahead of her performance. Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon knelt at the feet of RuPaul, while Emily Blunt and husband John Krasinski posed with the likes of Trevor Noah, Ben Platt and the survivors of the Parkland shooting.
