Claire Danes expecting second child with husband Hugh Dancy

There's another baby on the way for Claire Danes.

The actress revealed she's pregnant with her second child with husband Hugh Dancy during an appearance on "The Howard Stern Show" Wednesday.

"We've been wanting another kid for a while, and it happened," Danes said on the SiriusXM radio program.

Danes, 39, noted that she's "deep" into her second trimester, but opted not to reveal the baby's gender when asked by Stern.

"I'm gonna keep that to myself," she said.

Danes made the revelation after Stern asked her about a recent nude scene she did for “Homeland,” telling the host she was pregnant when they shot it.

The actress, who has been married to Dancy since 2009, also has a 5-year-old son named Cyrus with her husband.

Following the birth of her first child, Danes explained why she was glad she didn't have kids earlier.

"When I was thinking about (working and being a mother) originally, I was really nervous about it," Danes told Elle magazine in 2013.

"I think I would make a lousy stay-at-home mom. It just wouldn't suit me. I feel so fortunate, in that I've had this arrow-straight focus that I wanted to act."

She explained the following year why found she found motherhood "incredibly challenging."

"We still feel a pressure to talk about it in very romantic terms," Danes told Harper's Bazaar in 2014. "We all have that resentment at times and anxiety about being trapped by the role, that responsibility. And then chemically it can run riot … and there's no 'off' button."
