Stars react to Barbara Bush's death at 92

Stars are mourning the loss of former first lady Barbara Bush.

After news broke that Bush had died at home in Houston on Tuesday at the age of 92, celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres, Maria Shriver, Kathie Lee and Hoda Kotb and Bethenny Frankel took to Twitter to react to the heartbreaking news.

"Barbara Bush lived an incredible life," DeGeneres wrote. "I’m sending my love to her family."

"Rest In Peace, former First Lady Barbara Bush, a woman who stood for equal rights for all, and literacy programs everywhere," Kristin Chenoweth tweeted. "@JennaBushHager and Barbara, I know you will miss your grandma. Much love to the family."

Al Roker, Larry King, JJ Watt and Clay Aiken were among the other stars who took to social media to pay their respects to the former first lady and her family.

Barbara Bush and husband President George H.W. Bush celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary in early January. She leaves behind five kids, 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
