Beyonce & yodeling kid are Coachella's most-tweeted artists

Beyonce and Mason Ramsey -- the 11-year-old viral yodeling sensation -- may not seem like they have a lot in common at the outset. But after both performed at Coachella Weekend One on April 14, they became the festival’s most tweeted about artists, receiving an overwhelming amount of support from fans and celebrities alike.

Beyonce’s performance made history for a number of reasons -- as she noted during her set, she was the first black woman to headline the festival nearly 20 years since its inception. Her performance spawned the fan-generated phrase Beychella, which has been mentioned nearly 2.2 million times on Twitter. The highest peaks in tweets per minute also occurred around the end of her almost 2-hour set on the festival’s main stage.

DJ and Producer Whethan brought Ramsey out during his early Saturday set -- citing that the viral star needed no introduction. Another top trending artist, Justin Bieber, cheered on Ramsey from the crowd and even took a selfie with him after the set.

Other top mentioned artists include Friday's headliner The Weeknd, Rihanna, and Solange --- the latter of which joined big sister Bey on stage to bust some moves during "Get Me Bodied." Destiny's Child also trended on Twitter after Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams reunited with Beyonce to bring audiences their nostalgia-inducing harmonies.
