Kate Gosselin is ready to find love again on new TLC series 'Kate Plus Date'

Kate Gosselin is getting a new series on TLC. But this time around it isn’t gonna be about the kids. Oh, no. Now it truly is all about Kate.

Gosselin is starring in a new series called “Kate Plus Date,” which will — you guessed it — follow the longtime reality star’s romantic life, a spokesperson for the network told TheWrap.

“I’m nervous, I’m excited, and I’m forcing myself to do this,” Gosselin, said to People, the first to break the news about the upcoming docuseries.

Gosselin was married to her ex-husband Jon for 10 years and the two starred on “Jon & Kate Plus 8” together with their twins Mady and Cara, and their sextuplets Aaden, Joel, Alexis, Hannah and Leah. The couple divorced in 2009 and the show was rebranded as “Kate Plus 8” — minus Jon.

In fall 2019, Mady and Cara — now 17 — will go off to college, leaving Gosselin at home with the now 13-year-old sextuplets.

“As we’re talking about Mady and Cara going off to college which is becoming more and more of a reality, it’s gonna happen, it almost became like a worry for them, too, like ‘Mommy, you’re gonna be all alone soon,’ ” Gosselin told People of the new series. “But it was very apparent, now that they’re older and talking about dating and how they’re all gonna get married someday … it became apparent: they want someone for me. They want me to have somebody in my life.”

“I won’t be just doing some scary online thing,” Gosselin added, of showing her romantic journey on camera. “I mean, online dating, seriously — I put my profile in there and people will know who it is within 90 seconds. No, this is probably the safest way for me to date, let’s be honest.”

“Kate Plus Date” is coming to TLC this fall.
