'Fox & Friends' host thanks Tomi Lahren for 'working the streets,' gets chided (Video)

“Fox & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade earned an on-air correction from his fellow hosts Wednesday after appearing to suggest that Fox News contributor Tomi Lahren was a prostitute.

“Thank you very much for getting up so early for us,” said co-host Steve Doocy at the end of Lahen’s early morning hit Wednesday.

“And working the streets for us and Sean [Hannity],” Kilmeade added moments later — precipitating a moment of painfully awkward silence.

After casting a glance, Doocy offered a deadpan correction.

“Getting man-on-the-street interviews,” he said.

Kilmeade tried to speak more but was cut off by fellow show host and resident aggrieved Christian Ainsley Earhardt.

“That’s ok. We know what you meant,” she said before the show moved onto other headlines.

In her capacity as a channel contributor Lahren has increasingly taken to “man-on-the-street”-style interviews to “trigger the libs.” The role was once occupied by host Jesse Watters before he became a more established presence at the channel.

Lahren, who regularly gets up extra early on the west coast to make airtime at “Fox & Friends,” was on set Wednesday to discuss Sean Penn.
