O’Day said she had 'crush' on Trump Jr. on ‘Celebrity Apprentice'

Aubrey O'Day owned up to having a crush on Donald Trump Jr. years before reports claiming she had an affair with him emerged.

"Don Jr. makes me nervous, because his opinion means a lot," O'Day said during a testimonial segment on "The Celebrity Apprentice" that aired in 2012. "He's done this for a very long time. And also, I have a very big crush on him, so I don't want to disappoint him."

The former Danity Kane singer participated in the reality series' fifth season, finishing in third place. The years-old clip of O'Day talking about Trump Jr. resurfaced online this week when a Twitter user, Lauren Werner, shared it to the social media site.

Multiple outlets, including Us Weekly, reported this week that Trump Jr. — who was married — and O'Day had an affair from late 2011 to March 2012 after initially meeting on the "Celebrity Apprentice" set.

Speculation has swirled that a pair of O'Day's songs — her remix to the 2011 Gotye song "Somebody That I Used to Know" and her 2013 song "DJT" — are about Trump Jr.

Neither Trump Jr., 40, or O'Day, 34, has publicly commented on their reported relationship. Trump Jr.'s wife, Vanessa, filed for divorce earlier this month after 12 years of marriage.

A TMZ report published Friday claims O'Day has informed friends that she had a sexual relationship with President Trump's oldest kid, citing sources close to O'Day. A rep for the singer did not respond to a request for comment.

The report also states that O'Day doesn't think the alleged affair played a factor in Trump Jr.'s looming divorce.
