Britney Spears is wearing head-to-toe denim again, this time for Kenzo

Say what you will about '90s nostalgia in fashion being played out, or, at this point, simply exploiting millennials' desires for the comforts of a childhood when Trump was but an angry man on TV — but Carol Lim and Humberto Leon are proving there's still life left in this trend.

We're talking about Britney, bitch.

The Kenzo creative directors (who treated us adult children to a fashion show at Disneyland earlier this month) have cast the one, the only, the Britney Spears as the face of La Collection Memento No. 2, which is comprised of pieces done in the French fashion house's archival, over-the-top prints. The collection features plenty of punchy florals and graphic tops featuring the house's Tiger motif, but it's the head-to-toe denim that truly has us in a tizzy. You know why.

"Britney is certainly an icon and the quintessential queen of denim," reads a release for the campaign — an obvious nod to her iconic matchy-matchy ensemble at the '01 AMAs, which she attended on the arm of Canadian tuxedo-clad Justin Timberlake. (For his part, the former boy bander has swapped his denim for head-to-toe camouflage, and we can't say we it's something we condone.)

The campaign, which was photographed by Peter Lindbergh in Los Angeles, highlights the cheeky tone of the collection, which was inspired by the brand's 1986 debut of Kenzo Denim in Paris. And we have to say, Spears looks good.

Look, the pop icon has come a long way since 2007. Her hair has grown back, she's got a successful Vegas residency and she's taken up painting as a hobby. She's living her best life and all we can say is gimme more.
