Heather Locklear posts Instagram photo two weeks after her disturbing arrest

Updated

Heather Locklear is back... and she doesn't want to talk about it.

Just days after being charged with several counts of battery, and two weeks after her initial arrest, Heather is seemingly happy at home with her pet dog. A close-up photo of her pup captioned "Too close?" included no reference to her ongoing personal turmoil.

Too close?

As of late, Heather has been banned from owning a firearm, confirmed Ventura County District Attorney Tom Dunlevy. She'll no longer face domestic violence charges against her boyfriend, but she's charged with four counts of misdemeanor battery on a police officer and one charge of resisting or obstructing a police officer.

The 56-year-old reportedly threatened to shoot police officers when they arrived and told them their children deserved to die.

Heather's daughter, Ava Sambora was reportedly present when her mom and boyfriend got into the physical altercation. The boyfriend, Chris Heisser, was arrested for a DUI hours after the incident.

Days before the arrest unfolded, Heather shared a photo of herself smiling on a plane with her dog. She's also, in recent months, posted photos with Heisser, who she first met as a teenager. It's unclear whether they are still dating.

According to recent reports, Heather's family and friends have urged her to re-enter treatment.
