Tommy Lee seeks restraining order again son Brandon after brawl
Tommy Lee wants nothing to do with his son Brandon after he allegedly punched the rocker in the mouth on Monday night.
The Mötley Crüe drummer is seeking a restraining order against the 21-year-old son he shares with ex Pamela Anderson after the two were involved in an altercation, TMZ reports.
Lee is already pressing assault charges.
The pair reportedly got into a fight after Tommy Lee posted on social media about ex Anderson's recent interview with Piers Morgan where she discussed his 1998 spousal abuse arrest.
"Think she'd find something new to discuss instead of rehashing old shit but I guess she has nothing else going on & needs attention ???????" he tweeted. "Signed, 'The abuser' (who she texts everyday & asks for me back)," he wrote and later deleted the post.
Sources close to Brandon told TMZ that he punched his father in the face in self-defense after the heated argument. He also claimed his father was drunk and the reason he's been living with him is to help him overcome his addiction.
"I'm devastated at the events of the last several days that have been a result of my father's alcoholism," Brandon, 21, told People via his rep on Wednesday.
"I've worked tirelessly organizing an intervention and it's incredibly upsetting that it never came to fruition. I wanted my dad's hopeful sobriety and recovery to be a private family matter but, as a result of his accusations on social media, I feel forced to speak out," he continued.
"I have and will continue to cooperate with law enforcement as needed. I love my father and just want to see him sober, happy and healthy."
Lee retweeted the People article that included his son's statement and wrote "LMAAAO!!!! I'm happier than I've been in my entire life."
He continued by stating that he does have a few drinks "here & there," but that he deserves it after working for more than 30 years.
"You didn't arrange any intervention, you barely spoke to me while u were here. Just coverin ur a--!!"
Tommy Lee posted a picture of his bloody lip to Instagram on Tuesday with the caption "My heart is broke. You can give your kids everything they could ever want and they can still turn against you," he wrote. "Good job Brandon! Great son!"
Tommy Lee and Anderson were married from 1995 to 1998 and share sons Brandon and Dylan, 20.
