Nor'easter 2018: Drew Barrymore's snowstorm selfie is how we all felt in this awful weather

Updated

A Nor'easter barreled New York this week, and everyone in the city knows just how nightmarish it was -- and that includes none other than Ms. Drew Barrymore.

Drew was scheduled to meet fans while promoting her Flower Beauty makeup collection on Wednesday, but the sudden onslaught of snow, rain, sleet and slush forced all of Manhattan to a halt. And as she made her way through the misery, she snapped a selfie that was all too relatable for everyone else suffering through the storm.

"We will raincheck," Drew captioned the Instagram snap, joking, "Yes, I said it."

In the photo, Drew's furry parka is no match for the monstrous weather. Her expression is the same grimace all New Yorkers wore as they trudged home from work yesterday.

LA-born Drew reportedly moved to New York in 2014, bringing along (of course) her two sweet daughters, Olive and Frankie. She recently opened up a pop-up shop in SoHo, Dear Drew, which sells her signature clothing line.

Last month, the star celebrated her 43rd birthday: "This is the year of the dog fight," she captioned a photo of her birthday celebration. "Do everything you can this year for true change. 43 and humbled."
