Jennifer Lawrence’s ‘Red Sparrow’ pitch: ‘I’m naked. There’s boobs. There’s murder.’

Jennifer Lawrence is a one-woman marketing machine for her new spy movie “Red Sparrow.”

During a recent visit to Marc Maron’s WTF podcast, Lawrence did not speculate on the quality of her performance in the thriller, but gave the following reason why you should see it:

“Am I good in it? Who can say. I’m naked in the movie, so please go… I’m naked. There’s boobs. There’s murder,” the Academy Award winner told Maron.

Lawrence plays a Russian prima ballerina in the Fox project, recruited into a special military program where young soldiers are trained in the art of seduction. The actress spends the majority of her time plotting countermoves to costars like Joel Edgerton, Matthias Schoenaerts and Charlotte Rampking — but was not spared a few days in a tutu,

“Im the most ungraceful person,” Lawrence said. “The whole time, the second I got out of the costume I felt like ace venture in the f-cking combat boots in the mental hospital.”
