Este Haim calls Cheryl after 'mystery drunk woman' confusion at 2018 Brit Awards
On Wednesday night (Feb. 21), the 2018 Brit Awards crownedStormzy the current king of grime and solidified Dua Lipa as the nation’s favorite up-and-coming pop star. But one of the best unplanned moments at the show came courtesy of Haim bass player/singer Este Haim's extracurricular activities.
Seated behind former One Direction member Liam Payne and girlfriend Cheryl, Este was perfectly framed to steal the attention while host Jack Whitehall interviewed the couple. She winked, applied chapstick, and flirted with the camera as the pair talked about the Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack.
And while the moment was true TV magic, it got better as a number of publications and unwitting Twitter users mistook Este for a random drunk woman, and not one of the three sisters in the widely popular group.

But rather than be offended by the confusion, Este simply clarified it herself, tweeting: “not drunk, just living my truth.”

But that's still not the end of the story. To make sure there were also no hard feelings between herself and the Girls Aloud star, Este called Cheryl on BBC Radio 1 Thursday morning (Feb. 22) to clear things up. After giving a “big mozel” on the couple's new baby, Este went on to say, “there’s no beef,” and continued on to invite her to one of the band’s shows this summer.
