Oprah agrees to match George and Amal Clooney's donation to 'March for Our Lives'

Oprah Winfrey is matching George and Amal Clooney’s donation for the survivors of the Parkland, Florida school shooting.

A group of teens who survived the shooting is organizing the March 24th "March for Our Lives" movement in Washington, D.C. in support of gun control and reform.

George and Amal have announced they’re donating $500,000 to the march in the name of their twins, and Oprah is following suit.

In a tweet, she said:

"George and Amal, I couldn’t agree with you more. I am joining forces with you and will match your $500,000 donation to ‘March For Our Lives.’ These inspiring young people remind me of the Freedom Riders of the 60s who also said we’ve had ENOUGH and our voices will be heard."

Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw have also donated $500,000 to the march.
