Kirstie Alley's feud with the U.S. curling team is Olympics beef nobody asked for

Kirstie Alley and the 2018 U.S. Men's Olympic Curling Team started a Twitter feud on Monday night.

The "It Takes Two" actress took to Twitter on Monday night to express her disdain for the "boring" Winter Olympics sport.

"Im not trying to be mean but...... Curling is boring," she tweeted.

Team Shuster, the team's official account, surprised fans when they decided to respond to Alley's seemingly vague insult.

"We’re not trying to be mean either but your movies weren’t exactly riveting theater Kirstie," they said.

Fellow Olympic curler Matt Hamilton also made his opinion known on Twitter.

"You're entitled to your wrong opinion," Hamilton wrote. Alley responded to his tweet with laughing emojis.

Alley finally seemed to come around on curling after more followers defended the sport.

"Ok I'm gonna give it another chance!" she revealed. "My son loves watching Curling! He doesn't love figure skating which I do so we can make each other give 2nd chances today!!"

Over the weekend, the U.S. beat Canada in the Olympics curling event.
