Jennifer Lawrence ramped up the sex appeal on Tuesday as she stepped out in London to promote her new film "Red Sparrow." With the picturesque South Bank behind her, Lawrence was a total knockout in a plunging black velvet gown with a thigh-high slit.

The dramatic gown showed off Lawrence's svelte physique -- and a whole lot of confidence! And that's definitely a necessity when your barely-there outfit is battling cold breezes off the Thames.

It's a look reminiscent of Elizabeth Hurley's iconic Versace number, is it not?

The night before was the London "Red Sparrow" premiere, where Lawrence showed off a completely different aesthetic. Wearing a glittering gold and blush-hued ballgown, she kept her makeup muted and rocked playful Meg Ryan-esque curls.
