Celebrities hit Twitter to express excitement over 'Black Panther' opening

As the anticipation for Black Panther reached a boiling point last night, fans flocked to theaters across the country donning Black Panther masks, and Wakanda-themed outfits. Social media has been set ablaze, and Black Panther hysteria is in full effect -- even spreading to celebrities, who took to Twitter to express their amped-up thoughts on the film.

Common hit the 'net to upload photos of children showing off their best Black Panther character costumes, Questlove urged fans to be safe this weekend while screening, and you could almost feel Diddy's excitement in a tweet that read, "Men lie, women lie, numbers don’t!!!! Everybody go see #BLACKPANTHER !!!!! Let’s show our power at the box office!!!!!"

Prior to the film's Feb. 16 release, several celebrities gave children a chance to go see Black Panther, with Ellen DeGeneres, Octavia Spencer, T.I., and more buying out theaters and giving away tickets to children. In addition, Kendrick Lamar and TDE announced they will host children from the Watts housing projects in Los Angeles to screen the film on Saturday (Feb. 17) after Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith bought out five theaters in three different locations, reserving almost 1,000 tickets.
