Surprise! Amy Schumer married chef Chris Fischer in Malibu on Tuesday, February 13, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly exclusively.

According to Schumer’s BFF and fellow comedian Bridget Everett, the Trainwreck actress is head over heels in love. “Amy’s very happy,” Everett, 45, told Us exclusively in December, adding that she has already met Fischer.

The chef lives on Beetlebung Farm in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, where his family has resided since 1961. His 2015 cookbook was critically acclaimed and won a James Beard Award, while his Beach Plum restaurant was named by Esquire magazine as a favorite of former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama.

Prior to her romance with Fischer, the Inside Amy Schumer star dated furniture designer Ben Hanisch. They were first linked in November 2015 after meeting on a dating app. Schumer and Hanisch split in May 2017, but her rep told Us at the time that the former couple “remain friends.”
