Meghan Markle used a code word for Prince Harry on the set of "Suits," and now we know what it is!

Speaking to Harry Connick Jr. on Tuesday's episode of "Harry," Markle's on-screen father, Wendell Pierce, spoke openly about his time on set with the actress and how he and the rest of the "Suits" cast knew she was dating a royal.

"She met this nice guy, and we always talked about him in code, really," Pierce recalled. "You know, 'How you doing?' 'Oh, I'm going to London, coming from London,' whatever."

"London" doesn't seem like the most subtle code word in the world, but it clearly worked: Actual details of Meghan and Harry's relationship were scarce in the early days of their romance, which began in the summer of 2016 after they were introduced by a mutual friend.

Additionally, Entertainment Weekly reported, Pierce shared details from his last day on the set of the USA Network drama.

"I had a really wonderful moment as we were coming to an end of her time on the show," he remembered. "It was just she and I in the room and I said, 'I know your life is going to change, but always know -- no matter where you are -- I will always be your loving fake father.'"

Back in November, news officially broke that Markle would be leaving "Suits" after seven seasons on the show. She's set to tie the knot with Prince Harry in May.
