P!nk belts the national anthem at Super Bowl 2018: Watch

Updated

P!nk has performed before a live televised audience while swinging from a trapeze and scaling the side of a skyscraper, so she wasn’t about to let a case of the flu stop her from singing the national anthem at Super Bowl LII.

The virtuoso pop performer battled the illness through a pre-Super Bowl show Friday night (Feb. 2) in Minneapolis, at one point unable to perform her single “Beautiful Trauma.” But P!nk was game for “The Star-Spangled Banner” on Super Sunday.

Just before kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium, P!nk delivered a grandiose anthem. There was really on trace of under-the-weather-ness in P!nk's booming voice, as she belted the familiar pregame tune with players from the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles looking on. Watch a clip of the performance below:

P!nk has spent the last several months promoting her latest studio album, The Beautiful Trauma, released Oct. 13. Last weekend, she performed at the Grammys, and prior to that, she made headlines accepting the Video Vanguard award at the 2017 VMAs and at last November's AMAs, the site of that breathtaking skyscraper spectacle.
