Ex-HGTV host charged with sexually assaulting 10-year-old girl

Christopher Dionne, who has starred in several home improvement shows, was arrested Monday for sexual assault.

Dionne, 36, allegedly molested a 10-year-old girl while she was spending the night at his Connecticut house in November.

He’s accused of groping the girl’s behind and her breasts, then asking if she wanted to touch his penis, according to the arrest warrant acquired by the Hartford Courant.

He also allegedly took a photo of the girl while he exposed her breasts.

“Don’t tell your mom, I’ll go to jail and (my daughter) won’t have a daddy,” Dionne allegedly said, according to the warrant.

The alleged victim also claimed a similar incident occured in September.

Dionne told police that the alleged victim instead put her arm around his waist, but he was uncomfortable and told her “that was big-girl stuff.”

He has been charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child.

Dionne appeared in the pilot for HGTV show “Family Flip” more than two years ago, but the series was not picked up.

He’s also working on a new show for A&E called “House Rescue,” but the network said in a statement to the Daily News that production on the show has been suspended.
