Patti LuPone brings down the house with 'Don't Cry For Me Argentina' at Grammys

Now THAT'S a performance!

Patti LuPone brought every last person in Madison Square Garden to their feet at the Grammy Awards Sunday night with a remarkable rendition of "Don't Cry For Me Argentina."

It was impossible to listen to the gut-wrenching number without getting a case of the goosebumps. (And if you had to grab a tissue, that's understandable.)

The incredible performance was a highlight of an already-emotional evening. Earlier in the broadcast, Kesha was flanked by a crew of other famous female faces as she performed her highly personal "Praying."

Really, there was a little something for everyone at this year's Grammys: Hip-hop from Bruno Mars and Cardi B, rap from Kendrick Lamar and a healthy dose of Broadway from both Patti and "Dear Evan Hansen" star Ben Platt.

Also notable was the presence of white roses on the red carpet. It was the Grammy Awards' nod to the #MeToo movement and a show of solidarity with all women who have been subjected to sexual abuse.
