Though Beyoncé didn't appear to pose for any of the professional photographers at the party, Kordei met the "Love On Top" singer during the party, and photos and videos of their interactions have begun to circulate on social media.

Beyoncé also shared a friendly moment with Carey, as evidenced by a hilarious photo of the two chatting making the rounds online.

Roc Nation, of course, is Jay-Z record label. The rap mogul goes into Sunday's GRAMMYs as the most-nominated artist, with his latest album 4:44 up for eight awards at the 60th annual ceremony, which is happening in New York City for the first time in 15 years.

The Roc Nation Brunch wasn't the only pre-GRAMMYs party, of course. The week was full of star-studded events leading up to music's biggest night.
