Icelandic newspaper accidentally reports Ed Sheeran's death

An Icelandic newspaper has literally made a grave error. The paper, called Morgunbladid, accidentally posted a photo of Ed Sheeran next to an obituary for a different man, incorrectly leading people to think that the world-famous pop star had passed away.

The notice of death was for an 82-year-old mechanic who worked for Swedish car company, Volvo.

This is not the first incident Sheeran has had related to Iceland. According to The Sun, he had to have skin grafts on his foot after stepping on a geyser while visiting last year.

The 26-year-old singer is alive and kicking. Just last week, he announced his engagement on Instagram.

You may see less of the star in the coming years, since he is interested in having a family and reportedly told the Daily Star that he will stop making music to become a “good father.”
