It was a big night for Julia Louis-Dreyfus -- and she got to enjoy it without the pain of stilettos.

The "Veep" star celebrated yet another SAG Awards win for her hit HBO series, but she wasn't able to attend the ceremony since she's currently recovering from chemotherapy. Unsurprisingly, she managed to find the humor in a tricky situation.

"I wish I could have been @SAGawards tonight but have to admit it's pretty fun to watch in my pj's," Julia tweeted after winning two of the night's biggest awards. Then, addressing her "Veep" co-stars and crew: "Miss being at the table with you all. How was the chicken?"

Julia won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series, and the whole "Veep" cast was honored for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

It was just months ago, a few days after the 2017 Emmys, that Julia revealed she'd been diagnosed with breast cancer. She's kept in touch with fans via Twitter during her treatment and recovery, and she's expected to return to "Veep" this year to film its final season.
