Christina Aguilera and fiancé Matt Rutler take rare public outing together

Are we back in the '90s?!

Christina Aguilera and her rarely-seen fiancé Matt Rutler channeled the era that launched her career on Tuesday night when they stepped out for Stella McCartney's Autumn 2018 Presentation in Los Angeles -- and they looked absolutely fierce.

Aguilera went with an all-black look complete with knee-high boots, an oversized wrap dress, a chain necklace, newsboy cap and small-framed black sunglasses. Her new minimal-makeup styling brought her chic look to the next level.

Rutler donned a simple black tee under a grey suit jacket.

The couple hadn't appeared on a red carpet together since they brought their kids to the premiere of "The Emoji Movie" back in July. They've been together for about eight years.

Aguilera, who has always been relatively private about her personal life, made her triumphant return to the spotlight back in November, though, when she paid tribute to Whitney Houston at the 2017 American Music Awards.

Of course, Aguilera wasn't the only star on-hand to celebrate Stella McCartney on Tuesday, either! Katy Perry, Selma Blair, Amy Poehler and more celebs were there for the event.
