Ewan McGregor kisses Mary Elizabeth Winstead at Critic's Choice Awards, thanks her but not his wife

Ewan McGregor made headlines earlier this month when he thanked both his wife and his rumored girlfriend during an acceptance speech at the Golden Globes. Apparently reluctant to do the same the next time around, he went a different route at Thursday night's Critics Choice Awards.

As his name was announced for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or a Movie, McGregor quickly kissed co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead, the actress he's reportedly dating. Rumors have swirled for months that the two started an affair on set of "Fargo."

"Thank you to all of our actors... and Mary," he said on stage, declining to mention Eve Mavrakis, his wife of two decades. Winstead herself has been married since 2010.

In November 2017, a fan wrote to Mavrakis on Instagram, "I can't believe Ewan would end things with u," with a slur directed at Winstead.

Mavrakis wrote back, "What can I do?"

McGregor and Mavrakis share four children.
