Gal Gadot wows in cutout blue gown with a leg-baring slit at National Board of Review Awards Gala

Add this to Wonder Woman's list of superpowers: She knows how to avoid a wardrobe malfunction!

Gal Gadot stepped out in New York City Tuesday in a one-shoulder blue gown featuring a sky-high slit up the right leg. The Elie Saab design is gorgeous, but that slit was a disaster waiting to happen! Thanks to a bit of luck (and probably fabric tape), she looked completely flawless as she posed for photographers at the National Board of Review Awards Gala.

Gal let her standout gown do the talking, toning down the rest of her look with natural makeup and minimal jewelry.

Also making waves on the red carpet were honoree Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson, who were particularly excited to see Tina Fey make an entrance. During the awards ceremony, the three sat together at a table with fellow honoree Meryl Streep.
