Tonya Harding and Tommy Wiseau party together after the Golden Globes -- see the pic!

Tonya Harding and Tommy Wiseau put a new spin on the term biopic at the Golden Globes after-parties!

The cultural figures were both the focal points of two of 2017's most celebrated films -- Harding with I, Tonya, a Margot Robbie-starring heartbreaking but funny ballad retelling "the incident" that rocked figure skating in the 1990s, and Wiseau withThe Disaster Artist, James Franco and Seth Rogen's love letter to the greatest bad movie of all time -- and after being surprise attendees at the awards show, it's only fitting that they posed together for an after-party photo, which was captured on I, Tonya star Sebastian Stan's Instagram story on Sunday night.

As you can imagine, some on social media freaked out appropriately.

Can biopics have crossover spinoffs? 'Cause if so, they may be onto something here.

It wasn't a bad night for the two films, either. Franco won a Best Actor award for portraying the enigmatic Wiseau, while Allison Janney, who plays Harding's mother inI, Tonya, nabbed the Supporting Actress honor.

"[Harding] was overwhelmed by being in a room like that," Janney told ET's Kevin Frazier backstage after winning her award. "I think she's having a great moment ... and I think she should, because the movie tells a more nuanced side of her story, and it's much more complicated than what we first thought when this incident happened in the '90s."
