Gal Gadot is a knockout in yellow while Saoirse Ronan goes neon at Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards

If the 2018 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards are any indication, we have very high hopes for this year's awards season fashion!

The red carpet was on fire Tuesday night as star after star rocked daring ensembles. Gal Gadot was a style standout in a yellow cutout gown -- so gorgeous! -- and Salma Hayek cinched her full-skirted green dress with a pink ribbon.

Thankfully, high fashion wasn't reserved for the women! This year's most buzzed-about actors have definitely upped their fashion game: Armie Hammer donned a gold tuxedo jacket, while Kumail Nanjiani looked dapper in tartan.

Props also go to Saoirse Ronan, whose neon orange and pink silk number made us all wish we could be in sunny Palm Springs. Pairing the dress with platform silver peep-toe pumps was a very '90s decision -- but the '90s are back, baby!
