Prince Harry interviews former President Obama and the two cracked a few jokes

A nervous Prince Harry sat down with former President Barack Obama to interview him as a guest editor for BBC Radio 4.

In a teaser released Sunday by Kensington Palace, Obama is seen cracking jokes with Harry about whether or not he needs to use a British accent for the interview.

The interview focused on their shared interest in building platforms for the next generation of young leaders as well as the day Obama left office and his life after the White House.

The pair have developed a relationship since Obama was in office, Harry visited Chicago in October for the Obama Foundation’s inaugural summit and Obama paid him a visit earlier this year while he toured Europe.

Obama also congratulated Harry on his engagement to actress Meghan Markle.

Writing on Twitter, “Michelle and I are delighted to congratulate Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their engagement. We wish you a lifetime of joy and happiness together.”
