Father-to-be John Stamos wants several children in the next few years: 'We need a reason for Christmas!'

It's going to be a really full house for John Stamos!

AOL chatted with the "Fuller House" actor earlier this year, before he and his fiance Caitlin McHugh announced their big pregnancy news -- and although he didn't yet know he was about to be a dad, John made it quite clear that he sees plenty of children in his future.

"I have nieces and nephews, which is great, but now that they're all older, we need a reason for Christmas," John told us, adding, "I think the Christmas Eve party is going to be a family tradition."

Picturing Christmas Day five years from now, he mused, "Well, we have two dogs, so hopefully we'll have more kids than dogs by then."

To get in the gift-giving spirit, we asked John to list perfect gifts for some of the "Full House" cast. He already had one prepared: The actor used Michaels crafts supplies to decorate a personalized stocking for one of his co-stars ("I'm just realizing now the person I made it for is Jewish!"). Here's John's gift guide for the cast:

Bob Saget: "You know how they have 'no-complaining cologne'? I'd just squirt it on him."

Dave Coulier: "Something for gas -- I don't know what they make, but he's got issues."

Lori Loughlin: "Lori, I would get -- not any skin products, because she has the best skin the business. I drink her blood, that's how I keep young."

Candace Cameron Bure: "I'll sing her a song."

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen: "They should just send me gifts. They don't need anything."

For the whole cast: "Actually, I have so many pictures from the old days. I was always taking pictures and videotaping. I'm going to wait until Christmas to give them all the stuff I have."
