Seth Rogen cancels SiriusXM interview in protest of company's 'support' of Steve Bannon

Seth Rogen has decided to cancel his interview on SiriusXM scheduled for Tuesday due to its decision “to support Steve Bannon.”

“I was supposed to do a press tour on @SIRIUSXM on teusday but I’m no longer doing it because I can’t bring myself to appear on the same service that has decided to support Steve Bannon,” he tweeted Friday. “Apologies to the shows I had to cancel. And f— Steve Bannon.”

Earlier this week, it was announced the Breitbart chairman and former White House counselor would be returning to SiriusXM’s Patriot channel.

Bannon will be joining Breitbart Editor in Chief Alexander Marlowe as a regular host on the channel and Breitbart News will add a new daily weeknight show as well as additional weeknight programming.

Bannon, who advised Donald Trump’s successful presidential campaign last year and then served as a White House strategist before stepping down in August, is expected to lead the Patriot channel’s coverage of next year’s mid-term elections, as well as the 2020 presidential campaign.

A spokesperson for SiriusXM has not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for comment.
