All the best royal moments of 2017: From Pippa's wedding to Prince Harry's engagement

What a year for the royal family!

It can't be ignored that 2017 was peppered with sad news across the globe -- which made it all the more refreshing to see positive headlines. And many of those uplifting stories came from Britain's royal family as each and every family member did their part to put a smile on people's faces.

Perhaps most fortunately, the family just keeps on growing! Pippa Middleton tied the knot in May, and right at the end of the year, we learned another royal wedding is just around the corner. Plus, the Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with her third child -- despite having her hands full with the first two!

Although it was certainly a whirlwind year for the Duke and Duchess, the latter half of 2017 belonged to Prince Harry and his bride-to-be, Meghan Markle. They made their official public debut around September in Canada, where Harry kissed her as the paparazzi snapped away.

And of course, the biggest moment of the year was when the two stepped out as a newly engaged couple. There are only more good things to come!
