Madonna covers Britney Spears' 'Toxic' -- listen!
The Queen of Pop is bowing down to the princess!
Madonna took to Twitter on Friday to share a video of herself covering Britney Spears' "Toxic."
The 59-year-old singer's performance came just one day after she appeared to misinterpret a Twitter meme implying that you would drop a friend who isn't down with Brit Brit's 2003 hit.
"That song is [fire]. You are so wrong," Madonna wrote in response to the meme -- before sitting down to record her cover, it seems.
"Silence =Death! 😷. Song For World AIDS Day! 🌎🌍🌏. #toxic #poisonparadise 🔥 @britneyspears," she captioned the video on Twitter, which Spears liked.

Madonna and Spears, who turned 36 on Saturday, have been especially supportive of one another in recent years. In 2016, Spears celebrated Madonna's birthday with a video of herself dancing to "Vogue."
