Drake collects Hermes Birkin bags

Drake is known to make a fashion statement or two — whether it's lint rolling his pants courtside during the NBA playoffs or wearing a red Moncler puffer jacket in his "Hotline Bling" music video (which led to a spike in sales and even influenced Adele to get the same one).

The music mogul's interest in style has only grown over time; he launched his own clothing and accessory label called October's Very Own (OVO, for short) in 2011, debuted his song, "Signs," at the Louis Vuitton men's spring 2018 show, and most recently worked with Prada to outfit him for his global Boy Meets World Tour. He's also apparently a fan of Hollywood's favorite accessory: Hermes Birkin bags.

"People would be surprised to know that I am a fan of Birkins," Drake reveals to senior film writer Tatiana Siegel in his cover story for The Hollywood Reporter. "My mom's best friend collects them and when I was young, I sort of started to understand the value in them. And there's very few things in this world, tangible things anyway, that hold their value and sort of appreciate as the years go on."

But don't expect him to be toting around the iconic handbag, which a study has concluded is a more valuable investment than gold or stocks, anytime soon. Instead, he's saving his prized collection for his future lady.

"It was one of those things that I, you know, just started collecting as well for, I guess, the woman that I end up with one day," says the rapper, who has been romantically linked to Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez in the past. "So, I have a fairly vast collection of Hermes to offer somebody at some point in life. [Laughs.]"

During his interview with THR, Drake declined to give any clues into his love life or the meaning behind his hit single, "Hotline Bling."

"You just got to call the kid and find out," he tells Siegel, laughing. "Call me this evening, and I'll show you." So, what's your number, Drake?
