Rosie O'Donnell, Zachary Quinto, Wanda Sykes and more stars react to Kevin Spacey's controversial statement

Kevin Spacey's controversial statement in response to Anthony Rapp's allegations of sexual assault is being slammed by other big names in Hollywood.

After BuzzFeed published a report detailing Rapp's story, Spacey took to Twitter to say he was "beyond horrified to hear his story" and that he does "not remember the encounter."

"If I did behave then as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology," he continued. "This story has encouraged me to address other things about my life. [...] I have loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life, and I choose now to live as a gay man."

Many took Spacey's coming out as a strategic deflection from Rapp's allegations that he made a drunken sexual advance toward him when he was 14.
