E! News correspondent Ken Baker accused of sexual harassment by two women

E! News correspondent Ken Baker has been accused of sexual harassment by two women.

According to a report in TheWrap, two women who worked with Baker allege that he had made inappropriate sexual overtures in person and over text. One woman, now a former employee of E! News, said that in 2012, Baker called her into his office and asked her to sit on his lap. Another woman, who interned at E! News in 2011, said that Baker kissed her without consent and then repeatedly propositioned her for sex over a number years. The second women alleged that Baker also wanted to gift her “a Tiffany dildo with ‘Ken Baker’ engraved on the shaft.”

The women shared their stories on the condition of anonymity.

What makes the accusations particularly galling is that Baker has been vocal in condemning Harvey Weinstein and the wave of sexual misconduct allegations that surround the disgraced producer.

In a statement to TheWrap, Baker said: “I am very disturbed by these anonymous allegations, which make my heart ache. I take them very seriously. I care deeply for people’s feelings and sincerely live in a way that treats people with dignity and respect.”

The Hollywood Reporter reached out the E! News for comment.

Baker is the latest prominent personality to be accused of sexual harassment in the wake of the Weinstein scandal. Director James Toback, former Amazon Studios chief Roy Price, journalist Mark Halperin, Top Chef's John Besh, The Loud House creator Chris Savino have all been subject to multiple sexual harassment allegations.
