Gretchen Carlson on sexual harassment in the workplace: 'This is the watershed moment’

Former FOX News anchor Gretchen Carlson has already made huge strides in the fight against workplace sexual harassment.

But she told USA Today that she believes the assault and harassment allegations against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein are "the watershed moment."

Many more are joining in by sharing social media posts with #MeToo if they have been impacted by sexual harassment or abuse.

Now that women feel empowered, Carlson said, harassment is going to come forward in other professions too.

Since her sexual harassment case against former FOX CEO Roger Ailes in 2016 Carlson has worked as a prominent activist, pushing for Washington lawmakers to make things easier for people to speak out against their abusers.
