Ariel Winter and boyfriend Levi Meaden spotted applying for gun permits

Ariel Winter is ready to be locked and loaded.

The 19-year-old "Modern Family" star was spotted Tuesday applying for a permit at a Burbank gun shop. Her boyfriend, Levi Meaden, reportedly applied for one as well.

Earlier in September, Winter posted on Instagram a series of controversial photos in which she posed with different types of guns. She also Snapchatted a shot of her newly-issued firearm safety certificate, captioned, "F--- yes!!!!!"

Perhaps alarmingly, in the same Snapchat story, Winter shared photo of herself licking a gun.

For her foray into Burbank's Guns Direct, Winter wore a white t-shirt emblazoned with the words "Crowd Pleaser," which she knotted under her chest to show off her midriff.

The low-key outing was just over a week since Winter stepped out at the Emmy Awards, where she wore an ultra-revealing gown with two thigh-high slits.
