Billy Bush and his wife separating after 20 years of marriage: 'They are done'

Updated

Billy Bush and his wife, Sydney Davis, are calling it quits after nearly two decades of marriage.

Bush's lawyer somewhat downplayed the report, telling Page Six, "I can confirm they are now separated, and on a short-term break."

The news comes just about a year since Bush was infamously heard joking around with Donald Trump in a leaked Access Hollywood audio clip. The video, which includes Trump telling Bush he likes to grab women "by the p---y," cost Bush his coveted multi-million dollar gig anchoring NBC's "Today."

Despite the tepid confirmation from Bush's lawyer, a Davis source told Page Six that she is "10,000 percent out of there. It's splitsville. They are done." The source added that Bush "is not a victim."

The two, who wed in 1998, share three daughters. Bush's rep, claiming that it's "not true that Billy's wife has left him," said the ex-couple is still "committed to a bright future."
