Jennifer Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky take first red carpet photos as a couple at 'mother!' premiere

Well, it certainly took them long enough!

After a lengthy "mother!" press tour and a year of dating, Jennifer Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky finally gave the cameras what they wanted: Romantic photos of just the two of them.

Lawrence stars in Aronofsky's new psychological horror film, and they reportedly started an official relationship after filming wrapped -- but they've painstakingly avoided discussing or photographing the romance. That changed Wednesday night at the New York City premiere.

At 48, Aronofsky is more than 20 years older than Lawrence, but the actress seems unfazed by the age difference.

“I’ve been in relationships before where I am just confused,” she told People. “And I’m never confused with him.”

Really, it's no wonder Aronofsky wanted photographic proof of their relationship status: How incredible does Lawrence look in that white tulle gown?! She's truly outdone herself at every single "mother!" premiere, starting at the Venice Film Festival, where she left crowds stunned in a mauve and nude ballgown. Then, in the UK, she wowed in a sheer, figure-hugging crystal ensemble, before upping her game yet again in Paris.
