'The Talk' sets season 8 guest hosts amid search for Aisha Tyler's replacement
CBS is turning to its primetime stars to co-host The Talk when it returns for its eighth season next week as the network continues to search for a permanent replacement for Aisha Tyler.
The daytime talk show will return on Monday, Sept. 11 without a permanent replacement for Tyler, who exited the series last month. Her last day was Aug. 4.
As the network continues to search for a new full-time staffer to join fellow co-hosts Julie Chen, Sheryl Underwood, Sara Gilbert and Sharon Osbourne, primetime stars Shemar Moore (freshman drama SWAT), Chris O'Donnell (NCIS: Los Angeles), Eric Christian Olsen (NCIS: Los Angeles) and Wilmer Valderrama (NCIS) will fill in next week as guest co-hosts.
