Gwyneth Paltrow admits she’s ‘f--ked up so many relationships'

Gwyneth Paltrow has an Oscar under her belt and a successful lifestyle site to her name, but there's still one thing in her life that could use improvement: her dating skills.

"I've f--ked up so many relationships," the "Iron Man" actress admitted on Sophia Amoruso's "Girlboss" podcast. "I'm actually a pretty good friend, and a good sister and daughter and mother but I'm at my potentially most vulnerable and f--ked up in the romantic slice of the pie. It's taken me a lot of work to get to the place where I have a good romantic relationship."

Paltrow, 44, has plenty of experience to draw on. She's had a number of high-profile suitors over the years, including Brad Pitt — to whom she was briefly engaged — and Ben Affleck.

Celebrities you forgot dated:

The Goop mogul was previously married to Coldplay rocker Chris Martin for ten years. They split — er, "consciously uncoupled" — in 2014.

With all that behind her, though, it seems Paltrow is finally ready to put what she's learned to good use in her current relationship, with producer and frequent Ryan Murphy collaborator Brad Falchuck.

"I think without relationships of quality, you are not a successful person," she said. "So, if you don't have a good relationship with your partner, your children, your best friends, then it's really hard to claim success."

The 44-year-old star has been dating Falchuck since 2014.

"In my case, all of the lessons, as painful as some of them have been, have been about my lack of willingness to step into who I am," she said. "Going into a hole is exactly the opposite of the lesson."
